The 9 months of sun and a pleasant mountain wind create a paradise for climbers. You will find climbing sectors with perfect routes on natural lines, amazing sea cliffs, and many routes in alpine walls.

In the community of Pythagorion you will find climbing sectors for beginners and experienced climbers with amazing views down to the harbour and the highlands of Mitilini.

New climbing routes planned for the future:

the romantic river valley of Mili, in the big rocks of Spartharei, and the beach of Tsopela.

The island offers many climbing areas in a variety of rock formations and different styles of climbing in each. You find routes in an alpine atmosphere at the big mountains of Kerkis, rock climbing areas directly by the road and beach climbing.
